Testing Your Facebook OpenGraph Meta Tags

Today I finished the integration of the Facebook sharing feature for the Nimbb Player.  It took me much more time than expected, mainly because Facebook had an issue to get the correct thumbnail images.  As Nimbb videos can now be played back within Facebook, the thumbnail images are important so that people can preview the video before actually watching it.

A good way to test your Facebook OpenGraph MetaTags (meta property) is to use this page:

Facebook does caching for the thumbnail images (meta property "og:image") and if your link was cached with the wrong image, you might be out of luch.

However, using the previous link, you can request that Facebook do a new parsing of your page and it will actually also update your cached thumbnail image.  That's a good way to fix this issue.
