Blog: Coding an HTML5 Version of the 'Donkey.bas' Game

Donkey.bas was originally co-written by Bill Gates in 1981 for the IBM PC to show the capabilities of the BASIC programming language. Although the game is really simple, back in the days, this would be a relatively impressive demo.

We did a remake of this game using the D2Soft Engine. You can try it out here:
